Charles “Bud” W. Harris, 80, of Indianapolis passed away January 17, 2018. He was born January 12, 1938 to Earl and Thelma Harris.

Bud was a 62 year member of the sheet metal workers local #20. He was a deacon at Southwood Baptist Church. Bud enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, golfing and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Thelma Harris and brothers, Ernie and David Harris.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bettie Harris; sons, Doug (Kerry) Harris, Steve (Shelli) Harris and Mike (Angie) Harris; brother, Tom Harris; sister, Pat Stutsman; grandchildren, Matt Harris, Adam Harris, Morgan Wasik, Joseph Wasik, Nick Harris, Zach Harris, Megan Harris, Andrew Harris, Amanda Harris, Cameron (Victoria) Dake and Cory Dake; great grandchildren, Aubrey Dake and Owen Dake.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in memory of Charles "Bud" Harris to Southwood Baptist Church, 501 South Fourth Avenue, Beech Grove, IN 46107.
