Obituary for Willard l. Parrish

Willard L. Parrish, 90, of Greenwood passed away January 10, 2017. He was born July 22, 1926 in St. Louis, MO to Jesse and Hazel Parrish.

Willard was a proud WWII Veteran. He was employed at IPL for a number of years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Whiteland.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale (Loretta) Parrish; sisters, Joann (Carl) Mitchner and Mary (Ray) Baker and daughters, Becky (Dick) Lee and Janet Davis.

Willard is survived by his loving wife, Rose C. (Bannister) Parrish; son, Wayne Parrish; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren..

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 12 pm – 2 pm with a funeral service at 2 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278 or American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Rd, Suite 140, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
