Obituary for
Ruth Lefevers (Dozier)
Ruth Lefevers, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away October 13, 2017. The daughter of James E. “Ed” and Mary Hodge Dozier, Ruth was born September 19, 1929 in Kettle Island, Kentucky.
A homemaker, she was a member of Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Otis Lefevers of Indianapolis; sons, John (Della) Lefevers of Indianapolis and Daniel (Kim) Lefevers of Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Lorri Lefevers of New Whiteland; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mary, Stephen, Rebecca, Katie, Hannah and Gary; great-granddaughters, Haylie and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Lefevers.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. October 18, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home – 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. October 17th and one hour prior to services. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
