Richard Eugene Geiger
Richard Eugene Geiger, 74, of Mooresville, Indiana, passed away October 23, 2017. The son of Gail V. and Freeda Paxton Geiger, Richard was born May 24, 1943 in Goshen, Indiana.
Richard was President of CKS Co., Inc., an institutional laundry equipment company. Richard was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a long time member of the John Birch Society; the National Rifle Association; received the President’s Award from Braniff Airlines; American Legion Post #103 in Mooresville and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a pioneer in the on-premise laundry industry; a great advocate of animal rescue and rehabilitation organizations and loved the United States of America and it’s Constitution.
Richard is survived by his wife, Carlone K. McAllister Geiger; son, David Geiger and daughter, Christine Sample; sister, Connie (David) Holik; and special friends, Jim Waggoner, Chuck Fleischauer and Jean Bess.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. October 27, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home – 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. October 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
